BjP's motto is a healthy mind in a healthy body.  With this in mind, Physie develops skills of confidence, strength, flexibility, co-ordination and discipline.

Physie is a sport fusing dance styles such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobic dance, even yoga! Innovative choreography changes annually and is designed for maximum variety and fun. Our routines are set to entertaining, upbeat, contemporary music and are the perfect combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility with the benefits of increased co-ordination, brain development and confidence.

At North Shore Physie we work with our girls closely; encouraging them to achieve their personal bests while remaining true to themselves.  We are strong supporters of the BjP mantra "empowered young women" and we strive to send empowered young women out into the world ready to achieve amazing feats!

With over 200 locations, BJP Physie is Australia’s longest running and premier Physie organisation. Founded 127 years ago by Bjelke-Petersen School of Physical Culture, BJP has proudly inspired generations of Australians to exercise both body and mind through this remarkable sport.

"My girls and I have thoroughly enjoyed our first year being part of a wonderful physie family.

Having two very shy and sometimes anxious girls, Millie has shown great professionalism through patience, love and care to make my girls feel comfortable and happy" - Jessica Whitehouse

Simone is a life long Physie enthusiast, she started Physie as a 6 year old; a very long time ago! She now uses her organisational skills to keep the North Shore Physie stars on their (pointed) toes and lots and lots of balls in the air....she’s also in charge of picking up the balls that don’t stay in the air.

Simone is a strong advocate for empowering women; a mantra she strives to model every day.
